## What is Password Generator?
Password Generator is a tool for creating multiple random passwords at once based on the conditions you choose. You can combine numbers, lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and symbols, then adjust the length and quantity to match the situation.
The generated passwords can be copied directly or downloaded as a CSV file. That makes the tool useful when you want several candidates at once or need to prepare passwords for multiple accounts.
## How to Use
1. Choose which character types to include.
2. Adjust the password length and quantity, and enable the "include at least one of each selected character type" option if needed.
3. Passwords regenerate automatically whenever a setting changes. Use regenerate to draw again with the same settings.
4. Review the result, then copy the output or download it as CSV.
If you want to compare a few patterns, it usually helps to change just one setting at a time, such as length or whether symbols are included.
## Main Settings
### Character Types
You can choose whether to include numbers, lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and symbols. For many general services, a mix of numbers and letters is already practical, and adding symbols can increase complexity further when needed.
### Exclude Ambiguous Characters
This option removes `**0Oo1lI**`, which are easy to confuse when typing, such as `**O**` and `**0**` or `**l**` and `**1**`. It is especially useful when people may need to type the password manually.
### Include at Least One of Each Selected Character Type
This makes sure each selected category appears at least once in every generated password. It is useful when a service requires things like at least one number or one symbol.
### Length
This controls how many characters each password contains. Shorter passwords are easier to type, but longer ones usually give you more room for stronger combinations. For important accounts, a longer setting is generally safer. The strength bar updates as you change the length and character types, so you can balance the two while adjusting.
### Quantity
You can generate multiple passwords in one run. This is useful when you want to compare a few options or prepare passwords for several accounts at once.

## Things to Keep in Mind
- Generated passwords only live on the page. Regenerating or leaving the page discards them, so copy or download the ones you want to keep
- A downloaded CSV is plain text and not encrypted. Be careful where you store it and delete it when you no longer need it
