What is the QR Code Reader?

This tool allows you to scan QR code images in your browser.
There are two ways to scan a QR code: using a web camera and reading QR code data from a QR code image file.

Since the process is completed on a browser, QR codes can be read on any device, regardless of whether it is a PC, smartphone, or OS.

How to use the QR Code Reader

You can either scan the QR code with your camera or read it from the QR code image.
If you want to use a camera to scan QR codes, you will need a webcam or built-in camera for your PC.

To be scanned by a camera

First, you will need to give your browser permission to use the camera.
After allowing it, you can select the camera you want to use for scanning and launch the camera. Hold the QR code in front of the camera to scan it.

If you have blocked the use of the camera, you will not be able to use the camera. If you want to use the camera again, you will need to go to your browser's security settings and allow the camera to be used on this site.

To read from an image file

Select the QR Code image you want to read. Read the QR Code data from the selected image.

It does not matter if the image file contains something other than a QR Code. The QR Code is automatically identified and read.
